Warm, welcoming and a modernist icon of the city.

This is the essence of the Reñé Café-Bar and Restaurant, an old confectionary factory started by the Reñé family in 1892 which later, in 1910, became a famous bakery in Barcelona.

Located in the Eixample district, the establishment has preserved Enric Llardent’s original décor, combining a pleasant interior, featuring large windows, plaster ornaments in the roof, and Cuban mahogany wood, with attractive marble shelves in the display of the outer façade, which is in the modernist style and has been declared a heritage site of the city.
